A Note from the Co-Founder

The journey of The Caviar Business is rich and intricate, with roots extending far beyond our founding in London three years ago.

Let’s rewind to the 1990s, when I first encountered the caviar trade as a teenager, inspired by my father, who opened Europe’s first Persian store. His shop in Kensington became a beloved hub for the Persian community, celebrated for its diverse Middle Eastern offerings, but it was the caviar that captivated my imagination from the start.

Over the years, I immersed myself in the vital processes of grading and packing caviar shipments from various producers in the Caspian Sea. This responsibility brought immense fulfillment, and the thrill of each new delivery never faded. My father’s retirement after 35 years in business paved the way for the creation of The Caviar Business.

While my commitment to this trade has always been unwavering, my collaboration with Sanaz, our co-founder, truly redefined our vision. Together, we have infused The Caviar Business with renewed energy; her passion for caviar and her ambition to explore new markets have revitalised our mission.

In the UK, we take pride in catering to our esteemed clientele with premium caviar. Meanwhile, our operations in Dubai have experienced remarkable growth since our launch in January 2024, establishing us as the only 24-hour caviar provider in the city.

Deeply rooted in family traditions, we honour that legacy as we embark on this remarkable journey together.
